So first the good.It looks great, very slim, clean look. In bright conditions the picture is great and I really don't feel as though this running at 60Hz degrades the quality at all so don't worry about that.The bad..Flashlighting - in a dark environment like watching a movie in the dark this set exhibits horrible flashlighting - the light from the leds in the edges leaks onto the screen washing out the picture. Deal breaker so I returned it and got the 6800 which can dim these leds enhancing contrast and eliminating the flashlighting.Also of note is that the controls on the TV are impossible to make out because they are black/grey on the black bezel. For those looking for this bit of information, I have the TV and it is hdmi 1.4, Amazon has it wrong in the Description and you can even find this information in the Product documentation if you don't want to take my word for it. This TV also can upgrade a 2D hdmi 1.3 signal to 3D. The cloudy lighting issue some see with the Edge-lighting technology reported on the 2009 product has been greatly improved for 2010 and I can't really say I even noticed it a in a black scene. A great TV and got a great deal from Amazon. Now for the review only one problem I found with this TV so far is the light bleeding during a very dark scene or complete black screen this is an issue with a lot of edge lit led sets but i think a little more pronounced on this set. I did manage to set the TV so that this light bleeding is minimal please see my settings below. Very useful for watching Netflix. The qwerty remotes that came with my TV is very useful for web browsing, but don't expect the browser to be like normal computer browser because it is very bad, slow, hard to navigate, and cumbersome.For gaming, in my opinion, there is no lag if you turn off the picture enhancements options, and also turning on the game mode. Fantastic picture quality! Easy to set up and use. Shippers were great, unpacked the TV and made sure it worked before they left. The only complaint is I spent my 1st whole night wondering why all my shows looked the Soap Operas. Turns out this is caused by Samsung "Auto Motion Plus" feature that adds extra calculated frames to the video stream. Turning this off made the picture look as I expected (i.e. Law and Order's proper gritty/jerky camera motion when the detectives are on the street).
