Samsung UN55C5000
I was searching for a 1080p HDTV to fully appreciate my blu-ray player. My 4-year old 40-inch LCD (Samsung) is 1080i and it now looks dated thanks to newer technology. My new TV must be 1080p, aesthetically gorgeous, preferably LED and preferably 50-inch+ under $2,000. This Samsung UN55C5000 certainly fits the bill. Refresh rate was almost irrelevant since differences in picture quality between 60hz (series 5) and 120hz (series 6) were not convincing enough for me to burn extra dollars.
